COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Objectives
- Apply the fundamentals of Microsoft Windows Installer technology to your installation
- Use the Wise Package Studio Workbench to create a repackaging project
- Create a package and .MSI with Windows Installer Editor and SetupCapture
- Maintain .MSIs with InstallTailor and Windows Installer Editor
- Generate virtual software packages in Virtual Package Editor, then deploy and manage them with Software Virtualization Solution software
- Test packages using Test Expert
- Identify and manage conflicts in packages in Software Manager and ConflictManager software
- Distribute packages using the Software Manager database
- Use additional Wise Package Studio tools to create and manage your repackaging projects
